Removal of the sprocket –
1.Remove sprocket side rear wheel
2.Remove chain guard
3.Loosen engine clamp bolts (or sliding engine
mount fixings if fitted)
4.Pull engine back slightly until chain is
slack
5.Remove chain from the sprocket
6.The sprocket is held on up to six nuts and
bolts (normally only three used)
7.Determine the size of spanner/allen keys
required normally 5mm Allen and 10mm Spanner
8.Remove each bolt in turn retaining all
9.Sprocket is now ready for removal, it may need a gentle
tap with a nylon mallet as chain lube at time can glue the sprocket to the carrier
