Removal of the rear wheel hub –
.Hubs can be various sizes with multiple fixing bolts, depending on manufacturer
.Remove rear wheel
.Spray WD40 or 20/40 Lubricant at an angle to the base of the hub to lubricate the axle ( this will ease removal)
.Determine the size of Allen key required, usually 8mm
.Undo fixing bolt/s
.Nine times out of ten the hub will not slide of easily,  an initial tap with a nylon mallet may be required
.Tape the hub gently running the mallet along the axle to ensure you hit the hub square on
.Hub will start to move, if it doesn't use a flat wide blade screwdriver and tap between the machined break on the hub, this will slightly open up the internal size of the hubs, which will aid removal
.The hub will now slide off the axle, retain the key way that is fitted

NOTE - CHECK THAT THERE IS NO LASTING DAMAGE TO THE HUB AND THE FIXING BOLT IS STILL IN A GOOD SERVICABLE CONDITION, AND CHECK THAT THE THREE STUDS ARE NOT CRACKED OR STRETCHED, THIS CAN BE QUITE COMMON WITH OVER TIGHTENING.
