Removal of the throttle/brake pedal –
1.The pedal is usually held on using a one or
two 8mm nuts depending on type
2.Disconnect any cables or rods attached, the
brake arm sometimes has a quick release pin
3.Ensure all safety cables are also removed
from the brake pedal
4.Carefully remove the pedal return spring
5.Remove the nuts/bolts using appropriate
spanners, usually 13mm
6.The pedal can be sometimes spaced out and fitted on a
separate shaft so when sliding pedal away be careful to retain washers/spacers and the
shaft.
7.Remembering order of disassembly
