Removing a track rod –
1.Locate the two bolts retaining the track rod onto the stub axle and the steering column
2.Determine the size of spanners or allen keys your will need (Normally 13mm spanners and 8mm allen key)
3.Remember the order at which any spacers (this will be crucial when refitting)
4.Undo nuts and bolts at both ends of the track rod ensuring you retain
5.Once the bolts are removed the track rod can be removed
6.  NOTE - Check for any damage to the bearings on the end of the track rods, known as the rose joints and replace if there is any lateral play in the bearings
NOTE - CHECK FOR ANY CRACK TO WELDS OR ANY UNSERVICABLE DAMAGE
