Installation of rear bumper
1. Most commonly the rear bumper is held on using rubber grommets up the internal of the chassis rails and fixing bolts, ensure these rubber expanding grommets are in good condition, 9 times out of 10 they pull out of the chassis on removal of the bumper,
2.So ensure the full bolt/spacer/rubber stack is in the order of removal and then insert the two rubber grommets into the chassis and push the whole bumper to ease the rubbers into position.
3. Once home carefully tighten up the main bolts slowly until the rubbers grip the chassis and then tighten accordingly.
4.Other methods of fitment include bolting through a separate tube on top of the chassis rails, or bolts directly onto the chassis, these method are quite self explanatory but you must ensure that there is no damage evident prior to fit, they are not as robust a method as the more common one.

NOTE -THE BUMPER IS ONE OF THE METHODS YOU WILL USE TO PICK UP THE KART AND IS YOUR PROTECTION FROM REAR COLLISIONS, ENSURE YOU USE THE CORRECT HIGH TENSILE STEEL BOLTS SO THE ARE STRONG ENSURE.
